5 distinctions to put fast cash into your pocket!
Distinctions or ideas can literally turn your business around (many times even…) overnight. People go on a diet to look good, and I think you need to feed your mind with powerful distinctions on a regular basis if you want your bottom-line to be healthy. I was looking through one of my distinctions books and found 5 awesome ones that could improve the results in your business THIS WEEK. I also want to share something with you at the end of this post…
Here are the 5 distinctions – how many can you apply to YOUR business TODAY?
1) You need to stop selling and start educating. People are capable of making their own decisions but you need to make sure they understand what’s available and possible for them THROUGH you.
2) Start a FACT FILE. Collect facts, comparisons, data, illustrations anything to help people make a decision as to why they should use your services or BUY from you. Give them the “ammunition” they need to make their own intelligent conclusions. SHOW rather than tell.
3) People can’t comprehend complex things in a hurry. You need to help them make a decision. You need to break your message down and deliver it into smaller pieces. Your message should (1) educate; (2) differentiate; (3) motivate to action; (4) develop long-term relationships with your customers. You need copy that sells if you want to have a successful website.
4) Your employees know more about your business than you think. They need to put their ideas in the Employee Input Book (you need to have one first…). Simply assign a minimum time each week when they know they’re expected to provide honest feedback.
5) Here’s a question: “What other products or services would help your clients reach the outcomes they want? What else can you start selling that is a natural extension to your product line? What are your clients most likely to need or want as a result of using your products or services?” Can you provide it to them…?
I guess the KEY question is “How can you turn these distinctions into CASH for your business?”. Because that’s what distinctions or ideas are – MONEY SEEDS. But you need to plant and water them – you need to take ACTION for them to grow into Money Seeds in your business.
